Meet Darija Bazdan
I have always been a collector of details.
A shape on an old building.
The colour of a flower after rain.
A fragment of a painting in a museum.
The rhythm of an arcade.
A memory from the sea where I grew up.
Over the years, I learned that these seemingly unrelated things could become a visual language.This is what I now teach.
I don't want to teach you how to draw like me.
I want to help you discover what only you can see and trasform it into your own visual language of patterns.
I don't teach you what to see. I teach you how to see.

Do I need to know how to draw?
Not neccessary.
This webinar isn't about technical drawing skills.
It's about observation, curiosity and learning how to turn what catches your attention into visual ideas.
What should I bring?
Just paper, a pen or pencil — and your curiosity.
No software is needed.
Is this a pattern design class?
Not exactly.
It's the place before the pattern begins.
We'll explore the creative process that comes before the final design: observation, collection, transformation and visual thinking.
